Although close to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, it offers exclusivity and quiet seclusion. We have a variety of rooms available for religious or civil wedding ceremonies. Our Shairp Suite is directly above the Strathbrock Suite and can accommodate 80 guests and the Houstoun Suite can hold up to 220. Or for something a little bit different why not consider getting married outside on the lawn.

Start out on the M8 Glasgow (Eastbound). Continue forward with the M8 (signposted Carlisle, Edinburgh). At end of motorway continue forward onto Glasgow and Edinburgh Road - A8. Eurocentral Interchange. At Junction 6 continue forward onto the M8 (signposted Edinburgh). Leave motorway M8 at junction 3 then at roundabout take the 4th exit. Cross Motorway and continue Forward (signposted Broxburn). Junction with A89. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A899 (signposted Broxburn). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A899. Macdonald Houstoun House Hotel driveway is one the right hand side of the road just before the next roundabout.

M8 from Edinburgh

Proceed out of Edinburgh on the M8 signposted Glasgow. Leave the M8 at junction 3, then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto Livingston Road - A899 (signposted Livingston) Cross Motorway and continue Forward (signposted Broxburn). Junction with A89 . At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A899 (signposted Broxburn). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A899. Macdonald Houstoun House Hotel driveway is one the right hand side of the road just before the next roundabout.
