The picturesque charm
of Bankton House Hotel is not easy to define; Set
within its own grounds, linking directly to the foot
paths and cycle routes of Murieston waters, allow
for the country settings to be easily enjoyed by its
guests and visitors.
The Hotel is a listed
building dating from 1812 with a Greco - Italian
architecture giving it a unique charm and is
surrounded by spacious grounds, trees and a garden
with a Victorian conservatory which provides an
excellent background for wedding photographs.
We can offer a
selection of wedding packages to suit almost any
budget, all of which include a three course meal,
private function room and bar, changing room, cake
stand with knife and flowers on the table.
In fact you can even
have your entire ceremony in our Victorian style
conservatory and the wedding meal in our Function
Suite.
Bankton House can
cater for almost any kind of private function with
up to 150 guests and a buffet style menu while for
the smaller functions our Blue Room can accommodate
up to 20.

small hotel with only five large bedrooms, all of
which have en-suite bathrooms, colour television,
telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.
This limited
accommodation means that you are always thought of
as a guest and not a room number.

Bankton House is situated
between the M8 (Glasgow to Edinburgh motorway) and the A71
Calder road into Edinburgh. We are approximately 30 miles
from Glasgow and only 12 miles from Edinburgh. We are only
five minutes from the main train line, which services
Edinburgh and Glasgow with journey times of 20 minutes and
30 minutes.
We are only 15 miles from
Edinburgh International Airport.
