Directions
Crieff Hydro is an hour’s drive from Glasgow and
Edinburgh.
From Glasgow
take the M80 to Stirling and Perth, continue on the
A9 turning onto the A85 three miles after Dunblane.
From Edinburgh
take the M90 (via Forth Road bridge) and the A85
from Perth to Crieff. Alternatively take the M9 to
Stirling turning onto the A85 three miles after
Dunblane.
Directions by rail
There are trains from all UK main line stations (via
Glasgow/ Edinburgh) to local nearest train stations;
Gleneagles, Perth and Dunblane.
Local places of interest
Set high in the Strathearn valley Crieff Hydro's
900 acres estate and surrounding countryside
offer scenic walking routes and attractions of
historical and local interest. As well as
Drummond Castle Crieff is also home to the
Famous Grouse Experience, Scotland's oldest
distillery.
