Welcome
to our much loved family home, where the Threipland
have lived for some 400 years. Here you can hold
a party for up to 330 guests in the prettiest
pavilion in Scotland or have an intimate dinner
held in the castles
Old Library with 10 guests.
Civil and religious ceremonies can be conducted
inside the ancient parts of the castle, the Amber
room of the Pavilion, the Long Gallery or outside on
one of the impressive lawns. Then receive your
guests for a drinks reception on the ground floor of
the castle using the Old Library and drawing room
and spilling out onto the fountain courtyard area.
Whatever you are
after Fingask we will keep the atmosphere of a
private house. Fingask is not a hotel. The Long
Gallery on the castle’s first floor was built for
parties with its sprung floor, double open
fireplaces, its mirror lined walls and its coffered
ceilings. Up to 100 guests can be seated for a
ceremony or seat up to 40 for dining and dancing.
Your choice of
caterer from our hand picked recommended panel and
the option to bring in your own table wine /
champagne.
We have our own
permanent heated pavilion which can comfortably seat
150+ guests. The pavilion was designed to be divided
into modules when required so even a party for 60
guests or less would not be simply isolated at the
end of a grand hall.
At the end of the
evening guests can make their way back to the self
catering cottages which are all within strolling
distance of both the castle and pavilion. For
special guests and the bride and groom we have three
four-poster bedded rooms filled with ancient
furniture and family portraits on the 2nd floor of
the castle.
The ancestors of the
present owners were famed for their hospitality, the
tradition continues.
