heart of the Scottish Borders, boasting magnificent

this wonderful country estate is the elegant &
secluded Hoscote House. The whole estate is
available on an exclusive use basis for a truly
unforgettable house party wedding.

civil partnerships - and we can make sure that your
wedding day is one that will be remembered for all
the right reasons. From pampering your guests in our
sauna spa to hiring the wedding singer or Scottish
ceilidh band, the staff at Hoscote make sure that
you have the perfect day.
Hoscote specialises in intimate weddings of up to 40
wedding guests. Ceremonies can be held in the south
facing drawing room, the elegant dining room, the
conservatory or the walled garden if the weather is
wonderful. The dining room will seat up to 40 people
for your wedding breakfast and the grand hallway is
the perfect spot for the evening entertainment.

Directions by road
By car
from the North
Head west on the A7 out of Hawick towards Carlisle,
after approximately 1 mile turn right onto the B711,
signposted Roberton, over the bridge. Just through
Roberton village turn left, signposted Craik Forest
(7), onto a minor country road. Continue to follow
the signs for Craik Forest, bearing right at a fork
in the road, signposted Craik Forest (5) and past
the ‘No Through Road’ sign (don’t worry you’ll reach
Hoscote before the road ends!) until you see the
approach to Hoscote House with the electronic gates
and The Lodge to the right hand side. If you are
heading for Hoscote House approach the gates and
after a short wait they will begin to open
automatically, continue up the driveway until you
reach Hoscote House. If you are heading for Pathhead
Farmhouse or Gardener’s Cottage turn right in front
of the gates following the signs.
By car
from the south
Leave the M6 at junction 44, at the roundabout
follow signs for Hawick/Galashiels, along the A7
trunk road. Approximately 2 miles before entering
Hawick turn left onto the B711, signposted Roberton,
over the bridge. Just through Roberton village turn
left, signposted Craik Forest (7), onto a minor
country road. Continue to follow the signs for Craik
Forest, bearing right at a fork in the road,
signposted Craik Forest (5) and past the ‘No Through
