Kippilaw House is a
fabulous dream mansion in very private setting,
secluded by it's own enchanting woodland. The house
as it stands today incorporates the original 15th
century tower with a large Georgian frontage in the
palladium style.
All the original
features have been kept or lovingly restored to
their former glory by the current owners. The house
has all the luxuries of home with the beauty of a
historical country house. Our aim is to make it our
guests feel as comfortable as possible with a homely
atmosphere surrounded by beauty and elegance.
Kippilaw will be exclusively your house, and with
flexibility as our motto, we will go out of our way
to grant your every wish and make your stay a
delight.

are after an intimate wedding for family and friends
or a grand affair, Kippilaw will be perfect for you.
Kippilaw is very well appointed with beautiful
reception rooms making quite a few choices for your
occasion.
DINING ROOM
The formal panelled dining room has seating for 50,
with fantastic open fire and a grand piano. This
large room has a great sunny feeling with all the
windows overlooking the lawn. This room can be
re-arranged to include seating for 75 (approx) for a
ceremony.
BALLROOM
The ballroom with it's fireplaces at each end and
fabulous indoor cupola is a spectacular place for
seating up to 100 people. There are double doors
which lead outside to the Victorian covered veranda
and south facing garden. The semi-circular Victorian
bar complete this room making it a fantastic place
for a party with plenty of space for dancing or a
ceilidh. This room can also be re-arranged for a
large ceremony.
ROUGE DRAWING ROOM
The rouge Drawing room can be the perfect place for
relaxing on our velvet couches with a cocktail or
coffee. Decorated in the chinoise style this room
has the most lovely light with large bay windows
facing south over the gardens and lawn. Chill out or
chat next to the ornate carved marble fire. This
room can also be re-arranged to seat 40-50 for
dinner or a small ceremony
EGGSHELL SITTING ROOM
This cozy peaceful room houses a beautiful white
adams fireplace and is a very intimate sitting area.
HALLWAY
The classic large hallway has a timeless elegance
with it's original carved staircase, antique crystal
chandeliers, mirrors and plush carpeting. The grand
staircase is wide with a mezzanine balcony leading
to the master suite: this is perfect for a dramatic
entrance or speeches on the landing. As well as a
perfect setting for your photographs.
