Introduction

Located on one of Edinburgh’s seven hills Craighouse has breathtaking views over Edinburgh and out to the Firth of the Forth. Built in the 19^th Century French Renaissance style Craighouse boast both gothic and classical features.

The Castle Room is perfect for your civil or religious ceremony with drinks and canapés served on the Terrace and in the Queens Room. The Victorian Turmeau Hall offers a unique space for your wedding breakfast with magnificent oak panelled walls, barrel vaulted ceiling and twin fireplaces.

Set in the grounds of a local nature reserve Craighouse offers the perfect setting for official photographs and with the long drive up to the main hall a grand entrance.

Edinburgh Napier is fully licensed to hold civil weddings.

Directions by road

By Car: From the north or south take the city by-pass and exit at the Lothianburn Junction. Follow the road towards the city centre (Comiston Road) turn left along Morningside Drive. Follow the road to the end where it bends into Craighouse Road. The Craighouse Campus is on your left hand side.

By Bus: 23 Every 10 mins via Trinity, Canonmills, Hanover Street, The Mound, Tollcross, Bruntsfield and Morningside into the campus.

41 Every 30 mins via Hanover Street, The Mound, Marchmont, Grange and Blackford into the campus.

38 From Royal Infirmary/Cameron Toll - every 20 mins, stopping a short walking distance from the campus on Balcarres Street.
