Thirlestane Castle is a fairytale castle set in the beautiful Scottish Borders and will provide a memorable location and a most romantic setting for an intimate wedding.
The marriage ceremony would take place in the midst of the grandeur of the State Drawing Room. A champagne reception perhaps in the Ante Drawing Room and the splendour of the Castle State Dining Room can provide a wonderful setting for the wedding banquet. For larger receptions a marquee can be sited to suit your own specification and requirements.
Weather permitting the wedding ceremony can take place in the Rose Garden lawn, with a background setting of the spectacular stone building and architecture of the Castle.
