The lovingly restored Grade A-listed Border peel tower provides the perfect backdrop to a wedding with serious wow factor and a day that you and your guests will remember forever. Its magical charms captivate everyone who visits.

Available on an exclusive hire basis (Friday to Monday for weekends, or two nights minimum during the week), it is perfect for religious, humanist or civil weddings with up to seventy guests. Couples are able to use the building and grounds as they wish depending on guest numbers and wedding plans.

No two weddings are the same at Aikwood Tower and so central to the planning process is close collaboration with every couple to bring their ideas to life. The rustic building, natural stonework and picturesque gardens really are a blank canvas that allows couples to create the wedding style and atmosphere that's just perfect for them. An experienced wedding team is on hand to provide specialist and creative advice on all aspects of the wedding day – from budget advice to venue styling, flowers to photographers, drinks to music.

Built in the 1540s, it is full of authentic medieval castle charm - from the spiral staircase that winds its way through the heart of the building to the enormous crackling fire in the Great Hall. It has now been restored and renovated into five-star boutique accommodation without compromising on the integrity of the original building. With five en-suite bedrooms (sleeping eleven guests) and four reception rooms there's ample room for relaxing and socialising!
