To compliment the serene beauty of the area the hotel offers a personalised service and true Scottish hospitality to provide you with a memorable Scottish wedding. Our chef offers delicious Scottish cuisine ensuring that you and your guests have a fantastic wedding meal to suit your personal taste.

Within the hotel we can accommodate up to 80 guests and for larger numbers we can offer a marquee in the garden that can accommodate up to 120 guests. The hotel is also available for exclusive use for your event should you require. We have a civil licence allowing you to get married within the hotel or you could choose the small chapel next door for your ceremony before having your reception at the hotel.

A truly rural romantic location and yet easily accessible as the hotel it is located on the A82 between Crianlarich and Glencoe The hotel is also opposite Bridge of Orchy Station which is located on the main west coast line.

Weddings Exclusive Use

Although Bridge of Orchy is run primarily as a hotel, we do offer, and very much enjoy providing, exclusive use for your wedding. Treat the hotel as your home for a period of time, without distractions from other guests. Be 'Lord and Lady of the Manor' for a day or two, with the whole of Bridge of Orchy at your disposal.

Maximum single accommodation for 32 guests, double or sharing for 64. The bedrooms can of course be relet to your guests to reduce the exclusive use fee. And at Bridge of Orchy exclusive use really means what it says - your own exclusive, personal staff and executive chef for the duration of your stay.

Exclusive use of the hotel offers much more flexibility of arrangements and timings. And enjoy the magical romantic charm of the beautiful surrounding countryside. You and your guests will totally unwind here, well away from the stresses of everyday life.

Our two day package allow your wedding party to arrive the day before the ceremony and the chance to have a lovely buffet supper, celebration dinner or even a barbeque on the nearby hills - perhaps preceded by canapés and drinks in the hotel's lovely lounge - as an informal gathering before the formalities of the next day. Especially ideal if your guests are travelling some distance.

Directions by Road

From Glasgow take the A82 direct Fort William road north past Loch Lomond and Crianlarich and Tyndrum. Look out for the big white Bridge of Orchy building on the A82, 6 miles north of Tyndrum or 12 miles south of the Glencoe ski field if you are travelling south on the A82 form Inverness via Fort William. From Edinburgh take the M9 to Stirling, then the A84 to Crianlarich – then join the A82 north.

Directions by Rail

Take the West Highland Line service to Malaig (3 trains daily, 2 on Sundays) from Glasgow Queen Street. Get off the train at Bridge of Orchy train station. Exit the platform on the downhill side and go left. Follow the road down hill. When you reach the A82 main road you will easily be able to see the Bridge of Orchy hotel across the road. The bunkhouse is to the rear of the hotel building.
