Located directly within Glasgow city centre The National Piping Centre is a hidden gem! A beautiful Italianate old church built in 1882, with stained glass windows and unique spiral staircases. This is definitely a must see!

The 4 star Museum of Piping welcomes guests for arrival drinks receptions with use of the cozy Pipers’ Tryst. The Pipers’ Tryst meaning, “The gathering place of the Pipers” holds an 8 bedroom hotel, restaurant and bar which comes as standard for all couples.

The main auditorium located on the first floor of the building is a stunning room with unique musical features. It’s sweeping tartan drapes and contemporary colourings show off modern Scotland at its best!

The auditorium is the perfect size for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening parties alike. The room is beautiful at all times of the year with stunning stain glass windows and a large stage for all types of entertainment.

Small intimate gatherings can also be held in other areas of the building, alongside evening only events and larger house parties, The National Piping Centre is truly an excellent choice!

We both love visiting castles, ceilidh dancing, adventures and Lego, when we found the piping centre we knew this was the right place for our greatest adventure yet, our wedding. The staff are amazing, the are friendly, and really take the time to find out about your needs. The venue is fabulous, we booked the hotel and this really added to our adventure. The food is delicious, the piping museum was great, all our guests loved it. The best part for us was that the staff really got to know you, the service was so personal. We feel the piping centre is a special place now and we look forward to future trips to the restaurant and hotel. thank you."

"I first visited the National Piping Centre to attend a Wedding Fair and fell in love with the venue straight away. It has so much charisma and quirkiness about it, making it a unique and unforgettable wedding venue. I approached a member of staff at the Wedding Fair who happily gave me a guided tour and shortly afterwards we were all booked up and ready to go.

The service provided by Sophie, Caitlin and the rest of the team was absolutely fantastic, they truly impressed us by going above and beyond from start to finish. They were absolute professionals and gave expert advice about everything (including things we never would have thought of). The girls even impressed our photographer by suggesting a few photo opportunities using the buildings wicked features, which turned out brilliantly.

On the day, the staff made sure everything ran smoothly and accommodated our every need. The Piper even played the Star Wars theme tune upon my husband's request! We also had a marryoke which the staff were more than happy to get involved in. Yes, we have you all on camera shaking those hips!

Our guests still talk about what a magical day it was and everyone was extremely complimentary about the service and the delicious food. We can honestly say, we didn’t have to worry about a thing, as everything was taken care of on our behalf. We cannot thank the staff at NPC enough for making our day so special!"
