NAIRN SUITE AND WEE NAIRN

Our Nairn Suite can accommodate up to 200 for a dinner, The Wee Nairn can seat up to 30 and our Garden Restaurant up to 60 people. We offer a full range of dining menus, fork and finger buffets. We are happy to quote for any occasion. The modern facilities in our Nairn Suite include full bar facilities, cloakrooms, coloured lighting and PA system enabling us to host a dinner dance for up to 200 guests.

The “Nairn Suite” is equipped with all the modern facilities necessary for guaranteeing a successful Wedding Reception.

In addition to the Nairn Suite, we have also created a magnificent Honeymoon room - “The SpencerNairn Suite”, which boasts one of the finest views in Fife. Apart from the spacious and luxurious furnishing in the bedroom itself, it also has a fabulous huge bathroom with double king size corner bath and a double king size shower all tiled in Italian marble.

Accommodation

The Hotel now has currently 33 en-suite bedrooms.

Our standard rooms are on the second floor and are well appointed with en suite facilities and flat screen TVs. Rooms on the first floor tend to be larger and more opulent and in keeping with the period of the house, these are graded as Deluxe Rooms.

Our Bedrooms that lie above our Fountain Spa Leisure Club are of up to the minute design and are also graded as Deluxe. We also have one of these new rooms designed with wheelchair users in mind that has a wet room en suite.

We have three Family Garden bedrooms which have separate ground floor access from the main hotel, but also have Patio doors which allow access to the gardens, these rooms can accommodate an extra bed/s.

If you require the honeymoon suite, the reservation for this should be made at the same time that you book the wedding reception, this is always a very popular room and it is best to book this room as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

Directions by Road

From the North

Travel south heading for the Forth Road Bridge. When on the A92 (the main road between Dundee and M90) exit by turning right at the first sign for Glenrothes North and Leslie. Straight through first roundabout. Turn right at the next roundabout (Brown Tourist Sign: Balgeddie House Hotel). Continue on this road over one mini roundabout and at the second mini roundabout turn left into Balgeddie Way.

From the South

From Edinburgh Airport, travel north on M90 over the Forth Road Bridge. Leave M90 at exit 2a, signed Glenrothes. Continue on A92 until, signed for Glenrothes North and Leslie. Turn left onto A911, straight through three roundabouts. At next roundabout turn right onto B969 (Brown Tourist Board Sign: Balgeddie House Hotel). At the next roundabout turn left (Brown Tourist Board Sign: Balgeddie House Hotel).Continue on this road over one mini roundabout and at the second mini roundabout turn left into Balgeddie Way.

"We had our wedding at Balgeddie House Hotel on the 22nd July and had around 85 day guests and an additional 65 guests in the evening for the reception. We had around 30 guests staying over at the hotel too. Our day was everything we dreamt of and more, the hotel's staff were excellent on the day and couldn't do enough for us from start to finish. Our wedding co-ordinator (Sarah) was extremely helpful during the planning stage and allowed us to implement the ideas and schedules we wished into our day, we had a few quirky things planned which the hotel hadn't done before and they weren't an issue to them and they showed their eager excitement about them being staged at the hotel too. The Honeymoon suite is luxurious and was very spacious for all the wedding party to congregate in for pre-wedding photos and videos along with hair and make up being able to be done in the room. The Nairn suite was host to our ceremony, dinner and evening reception and catered for every need. The room was quickly turned over and even when we ourselves ran around an hour late in the schedule the hotel staff still managed to turn everything round for us and make up the time very quickly and efficiently. The dinner was superb, there were many empty plates and we had a drinks package tailored to meet our needs. The gardens were lovely, very well kept and provided a lot of different colours for photographs, we had child guests making full use of the huge lawn. The crawling Ivy up the hotel wall makes for a truly stunning photograph backdrop. The garden furniture could be better but the patio area is ideal for guests drinking outside when the weather allows. Of all our guests who stayed over, all had an exceptional stay at a reasonable cost, the rooms were most comfortable and the breakfasts went down very well. The staff and the hotel along with it's grounds are a credit to the wedding industry. We had the most amazing day without breaking the budget. Thank you Balgeddie House!"
