That may be a grandiose claim, but Cortes leaves visitors inspired and enthused, relaxed and invigorated. The Regency mansion is large – 10 bedrooms in the main house (and two bedrooms available separately) – but it is never over whelming. The reception rooms, with their delicate cornicing, their original fireplaces and their enormous windows, are both elegant and comfortable.The gorgeous, interior designed bedrooms all give onto an atrium bathed in light from a glass cupola above, and the grounds are the ideal place for true relaxation.

Cortes House is the ideal destination for an intimate wedding in Scotland near Aberdeen. The glass cupola in the atrium and the size of the rooms and windows throughout the house ensure that your big day is one of grandeur and brightness.

The many reception rooms mean you can have separate areas for dinner, dancing and intimate chats. Two interconnecting rooms together seat 80 for dinner. For larger weddings, it is possible to erect a marquee in the grounds.

You may wish to accommodate your closest friends and family in the House. At Cortes this is no problem as we can sleep up to 24 in 10 bedrooms, or 30 in 12 bedrooms if the two triple-bedrooms on the lower ground floor are used.
