The Perfect Venue for your Perfect Day
One of the oldest established and highest quality country house hotels in Scotland, Rufflets St Andrews is the VOWS Awards 2017 Wedding Venue of the Year (Fife, Angus & Perthshire). With an enviable location on the outskirts of St Andrews, 10 acres of beautiful gardens provide a gorgeous backdrop for those special photographs. The Garden Suite, an impressive, purpose built wedding venue, can accommodate up to 150 guests exclusively for a ceremony, reception and wedding banquet.
At Rufflets St Andrews we only host one wedding per day, and we promise to provide the ultimate in service and attention to detail for you and your guests. Whether it’s an intimate family gathering or a large, formal celebration, our award-winning Events Team will expertly guide you through every stage of planning your wedding day.
GARDEN SUITE
The Garden Suite at Rufflets St Andrews is a purpose built, self-contained extension providing a stylish and unique setting for exclusive use weddings and celebrations.
The Suite is set within an established garden bounded by mature yew hedges and ensures privacy and seclusion for wedding guests. The building is a marriage of contemporary design and traditional elegance, sympathetic to the features of the original country house and the surrounding landscapes.
The stylish, bright interior of the Garden Suite comprises an entrance lobby leading in to the Long Gallery which provides a spacious Reception room with bar facility. The Garden Room itself also boasts bar facility and seats up to 150 for your wedding breakfast, with French doors opening onto a private west-facing terrace. The Garden Room can also be divided into two smaller rooms suitable for up to 60 guests for a wedding meal.
CEREMONIES
Your wedding ceremony is one of the most important parts of your wedding day and our facilities at Rufflets St Andrews can host from 2 people up to 150. If the Scottish weather allows, our immaculate gardens create a stunning backdrop for you to share this most precious of moments with family and friends.
We would love to promise an outdoor ceremony for all of our couples, however this can’t be guaranteed. We always have an indoor alternative and the decision is made on the morning of the wedding, based on the weather conditions throughout the preceding week and the forecast on the day. A ceremony fee of £650.00 applies to either an indoor or outdoor ceremony on the premises.
