Situated within two acres of carefully landscaped gardens, the Lynnhurst Hotel is a beautifully restored Victorian property located within the heart of Renfrewshire. We are able to host religious, civil, and humanist ceremonies in our main ballroom, idyllic gardens, or in one of our private function rooms.

Our contemporary ballroom can comfortably accommodate parties of up to 170 for dinner and up to 200 plus for an evening reception, and our stunning grounds are the perfect backdrop for photographs and Champagne receptions on the lawn.

If you desire a more intimate gathering, our small exquisite dining rooms are the perfect choice for a romantic and magical celebration. Our experienced wedding co-ordinator will create a bespoke wedding package personalised to your individual requirements. We are located in Johnstone which is a 15 minute drive to Glasgow City Centre. We are within 10 minutes to Glasgow Airport.

Glasgow International Airport is just 5 miles (8 km) from the hotel.

Glasgow City Centre is within easy reach, as is the beautiful scenery of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

Johnstone Railway Station is just a few hundred metres away where you travel to Glasgow Central Station for further rails links.

We were treated like the only couple to ever get married there even though you average about 3 weddings a week! i can only imagine the effort it takes to make each couple and all their guests feel so special. You have got that nailed.

"Stayed in the hotel and had my daughter’s wedding here, the accommodation was excellent, with an amazing honeymoon suite complete with jacuzzi. And steam room, the food wonderful and the wedding unbelievable. The staff could not do enough, nothing was too much trouble and the just knew what was required to make the wedding special. Sandra the wedding coordinator was fantastic and was there for my daughter when needed and made her relax about the whole day, from the first meeting through to the day.

So a huge thank you to all the staff at the Lynnhurst from the reception staff, bar staff, to the cleaning staff who when asked where a shop was to get mints for the bride went upstairs and came back and gave us the pack from here own pocket.

I would recommend this for weddings, for romantic breaks, or go for a bar lunch which had a very reasonably priced menu, which we also excellent. Thank you all"

"We had our wedding here on 27th September 2015 and it was everything we could have hoped for and more, the staff and service was amazing. I stayed the night before in a double room and it was huge with lovely facilities. On the wedding night I stayed in the honeymoon suite with my new husband and it was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel even accommodated for the fact that I was pregnant and supplied alcohol free Kopparberg, which was above and beyond. Breakfast was lovely and there were loads to choose from. The staff were wonderful the night before, on the day and even the next day when we didn't leave until 4pm. Thank you so much for a wonderful and memorable day x."

"On 26th September 2015 my Daughter had her wedding reception at The Lynnhurst Hotel. We cannot thank Sandra and her fantastic team enough for all the work to making this day so wonderful. On the lead up to the wedding Sandra was a great help to Alexandra, Allan and myself accommodating all our requests and the Lynnhurst was really one aspect of the wedding day where we had complete confidence that everything was well taken care of and nothing for us to worry about. Nothing prepared us for the first glimpse of the room all set up and ready for us and the guests, it was absolutely stunning, the colour of the lights matched the beautiful floral centre pieces and chair backs it was all so well coordinated. Looking around the room from the Top table with the candelabras all lit up was breath taking, I have never seen such a beautiful room. The meal was delicious, we had chosen the Platinum package and the meal choices were great. A large number of our guests commented to us that the standard of food and the venue was the best they had ever experienced at a wedding. Everything throughout the afternoon and evening ran like clockwork, we were guided throughout where we should be and when. The rooms were lovely, the Honeymoon Suite stunning as was room 6 where my husband and I stayed. Breakfast the following morning was a fantastic atmosphere as a lot of our guests had stayed over also we took up most of the breakfast room, food again was great and great choices. Again a huge thank you to Sandra and her Team for an unforgettable perfect wedding, Allan and Alexandra have asked me to pass on their sincere thanks for everything and making their day perfect."
