Rooted in its Victorian heritage yet oozing a modern luxury, The Old Dr Bells Baths is a listed former swimming pool nestled away in the heart of Leith just outside of Edinburgh City Centre.

A gorgeous interior bathed in natural light emanating from the spectacular vaulted ceiling windows and boasting many original period features it is the perfect setting for your wedding day or special event.

Having closed its doors as a swimming pool in the early 2000s The Old Dr Bells Baths has been lovingly renovated into one of Scotland’s premier multi-purpose event spaces. Finished in neutral white with ornate black pillars and banisters, The Old Dr Bells Baths offer you a completely blank canvas for your special event to take centre stage.

"Where can we even start with this venue! For starters, they absolutely saved the day, when our original plans kind of fell apart and managed to make it that our entire day happened with them. From then on, the wedding became an absolute doddle and the process all of a sudden so much easier and enjoyable. On the run up, the team at Old Dr Bells Baths were so helpful and accommodating, in particular Daisy and Jay worked so closely with us to make everything so special and, more importantly feel like us. We are not particularly fancy people and just wanted a fun party atmosphere for our day and they just got it! It was beautiful!

Then to the actual day....they went above and beyond and made it so incredibly special for us. We had a few hiccups (nothing to do with them) and they managed to make it feel like those didn't even happen. Daisy and Andy on the day were so kind and attentive to not just us but our entire party, that we felt we could just relax into the joy of getting married. We honestly cannot recommend them enough and our only wish is that we had been with them from the very start! Everything was perfect, people still comment on the food, atmosphere and amazing staff! Thank you to you all for putting on such a special and personal day for us. Can we do it again? "
