Guthrie Castle, a fairytale 15th Century privately owned estate, is within a short distance from all the major towns in Angus sitting almost equally distant from Arbroath, Forfar, Montrose and Brechin – just 30 minutes north of Dundee and equal distance between Edinburgh and Aberdeen. This romantic venue is especially perfect for weddings or private celebrations. Whilst we have hosted many intimate, small weddings, occasionally with only the Bride and Groom, we have also had celebrations with up to as many as 250 guests. We can provide overnight accommodation for up to 28; local hotels within 15 minutes cater for additional guests. Privacy is assured through exclusive booking and rates are surprisingly competitive. A special ambience is captured in the period furniture, paintings and antiques throughout each room of the castle.
